"We did a staycation to enjoy the sunset/sunrise on the beach. We stayed in a room with a balcony on the gulf side. Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. My only two small inconveniences were only one trash can in the entire room/bathroom and the walls are very thin so we could hear our neighbor coughing ALL night long. At times it sounded as if she was next to our bed. "

"This was my second stay at Surf and Sand. Loved it enough to come back, and will come again. Pros: free hot breakfast, attentive staff, cold a/c, hot water and great pressure in the shower, and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Cons: our fridge leaked the whole time so we had to keep a towel on the floor, the beds were not very comfortable (had to really work hard to find the right spot), our toilet flushed REALLY slowly and eventually stopped up, and we were out of some toiletries in the shower. All minor things. Overall was a great stay, I'm sure we'll be back for a third time and more!"

I watched her checked in a group of about 30, with a calm, polite, friendly and interactive attitude.Credit to all the front desk workers. The young lady in the breakfast area was also amazing, very polite and respectful. She works very hard with a smile on her face everytime. The overall staff on my visit was amazing..."
