"Simply perfect! This super well-stocked and clean cottage was just what I needed for a quiet, restful getaway. The gas fireplace and rocking chair on the dock were the cherries on top. "We loved the “cabin in the woods” feel but also just being a short drive into town for everything. It’s a very cozy, comfortable place. It’s about 2 miles from Parish Hill Event Barn so if you have a wedding to go to there it’s a great place to book if you don’t want to drive home after. "Made reservation through 3rd party. Office had no record of it when I was checking in. I had to show that my account was debited for the rental. Area is very crowded with RVs. Was greeted by campers yelling at me to slow down, even though I was doing the tmph speed limit. Not a good environment if you don't have an RV."

"Located at the end of a dirt road along the lake, this cozy home leaves little to be desired. It’s off the beaten path and provides seclusion as well close proximity to the wide variety of wineries and towns in the area. The host was wonderful; calling before our arrival to ensure there were no questions, and informing us of a temporary power outage the day we were to arrive. "2 couples, stayed there in mid November. House inside and out is practically brand new. Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels and linens. It was cold while we were there, but the outside deck is very large and spacious. Grill could use some help, and there are no TVs. Basement is a plus, but we didn't use it. Property manager lives right across the street and greeted us when we arrived to make sure everything was in order. When we come to the finger lakes, we will rent this house again."

"This property has a beautiful lake view with a fire pit to enjoy the serenity of the area. The space was warm and homey feeling. We really enjoyed our stay. My brother is handicapped and there was a very sweet lady named Cynthia who was working in the yard when we pulled in. She helped us with getting ramps for accessibility into the home."

However, due to the awkward layout, we would have been much more comfortable with privacy window treatments in the front porch area. Also, the shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery.
