"Time with family is so important so I offered my daughter and daughter-in-law a retreat to the hill country as a birthday getaway. Lori was an exceptional host by making sure we had great water to play in and a welcoming gift inside a lovely clean home on the creek! There were paddle boards and a kayak with oars at the ready for us to enjoy the water activities. My daughter-in-law tried out the paddle board and learned something new. My daughter decided the kayak was more her style and enjoyed...

"We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The unit was clean. The sheets were clean. It was quiet and peaceful. They have cast iron BBQ’s for use on property. You are close to a river walk. We had a great stay!"

"What a hidden gem in the darling town of Comfort, Texas. After attending a memorial service further west in Texas, I decided to find a place to stay closer to the San Antonio airport and came across the Meyer Hotel online. What a find. Peaceful, quaint, a very lovely room and beautiful grounds, just a very short walk to the charming downtown. My only wish was that I could have stayed longer. If you need a quiet place of respite, stay here a few days. Check in and check out was contactless, but the management team was in close contact and everything was seamless. I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at the Meyer Hotel and you will too!"

"When I arrived, after 1:30 am, exhausted after a full day of traveling, I arrived only to find my Expedia reservation had issues..... The payment was declined! Luckily, I had ALL the paperwork printed out with confirmation, paid in full with Expedia. The clerk called the manager at home, explained the situation and ran it as cash. Never heard anything more until day before I was due to check out (4 day stay) assumed it had been worked out. The hotel called interrupting my meeting, stated they had to charge my credit card as they needed to be paid and somehow Expedia wasn't. After about 45 min in the office, Heidi and I worked it thru with Expedia and the third party provider. The hotel staff apologized profusely, I believe they tried their best to resolve the issue without inconveniencing me but were unable to. Still they went above and beyond and ensured my card would not be charged. "
