"Our first time to stay in this hotel and our expectations were not met. Hotel was quiet despite the season, safe and tranquil. Customer service was average. Checking in was slow but efficient, checking out was a hassle (took 30 minutes to do so at 5:30am). Imagine entering your hotel room with a random person’s phone charging by the bathroom (finding out later that it’s the room cleaner’s, no apologies given). They even forgot to provide us free drinking water which they tried to charge us upon...

"Whenever we visit the Philippines, we stay at Camp John Hay. We feel safe here. I like the fact that they have Drivers’ Quarters. They do need to provide face, hand towels and a box of kleenex. Their staff are courteous. "

"Unfortunately I wanted to love this place as I enjoy discovering boutique hotels all over the world. Upon arriving to our hallway of our room there was a musty strong odor but I realized it was just probably the hallway carpet as there is alot of traffic in and out. We dropped off our belongings and came back in the evening and the bathroom reeked with some odor that I felt was coming in from the pipes. The sink water was was not going down. "The Hoka Brew restaurant within the property was very good. It offers a nice variety of dishes. Their coffees tasted really good. Staff were friendly too. Cleanliness of the property needs to improve. The towels were already worn out and some were even stained. Little cockroaches were seen in our room. Noise from the outside halls can be heard inside the rooms. "
