「Family and friend reunion. Loved the ocean, park, hiking trails, Hearst Castle, and all the little coastal towns. The elephant seals, otters, and bird life were precious. The house was in a perfect location. So many things to do. Loved the layout of the house and the view of the ocean at all times. Cooked most meals at home and the layout of the house was perfect for sleeping and socializing. The host was easy to communicate with and very hospitable. 」

The only thing was the kitchen does not have much lighting and the stove is electric. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely love to come back. 」

「This lovely little unit had everything I might have needed (including a full sized refrigerator), was spotlessly clean, and in a wonderful location: close to downtown and Hearst Castle but definitely out in nature. The views from the windows are gorgeous. I loved seeing the horses and Waffles the steer every morning. Joey was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely stay there again. 」

「So glad we chose this beautiful property for our little family getaway! First, it’s nicer than the pictures! The home is so roomy, unique, comfortable, and well stocked! 「Had a great stay with family with young kids and a dog. Lofts are on the second floor with no elevator. They are above shops and restaurants with outdoor eating areas around. 「We have stayed at this cute little cottage several times. It’s quite, peaceful and very close to the beach. It’s one of our favorite places to stay. 」

「Overall, the place was pleasant and description relatively accurate. But the gas stove top and refrigerator were old and really need replacement. With a new fridge, induction cooktop, and small air fryer, this place would be much more functional. Replacing the old toilet would also be a nice upgrade.
