It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."

"The road up is narrow and a little challenging but so worth the breathtaking views !!! The pool overlooking the hills and the manicured landscaping were top notch! We were close enough to a small town to enjoy the local restaurants good food, groceries and other towns to do day trips as well. The Villa had everything to make our Stay very comfortable. The little cottage allowed us two couples separate sleeping and bathroom privacy."

"This was exactly as described, Massimo was very engaging and informative, he told the history around the house and surroundings, the place is quaint and cozy, (especially the little wood stove), it was exhilarating to come home to after visiting busy, noisy Florence and Venice, climbing the windy little road was an experience in itself, if you love peace and quiet this is the place. "My husband and I drove from Naples to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany scenery amidst our travels throughout Italy. Unbeknownst to us, GPS guided us on a much different path than we expected. A narrow winding unpaved trail up the mountain side was not what we expected and we decided to work our way down before getting stuck on the mountain path with a flat tire. When I called Marco to let him know that we would be delayed, he quickly came to the rescue and picked us up and drove us to the villa....

"The quiet setting of this old farmhouse provided a calm retreat from the hectic days of sightseeing. Giacomo was a gracious host, meeting us when we arrived, giving us numerous helpful tips about sightseeing and restaurants, things to do and places to see. "The property is convenient for visiting Pisa city centre and the tower. The staff at the property were very friendly. The property was clean and so was the pool and pool area. The pool is great, although it does close at 7pm which is typical for Italy, although if you’ve been visiting the city during the day, longer pool opening would be advantageous. The problem with this place is that there’s literally nothing there, there’s a restaurant in the evenings, which I have to say is brilliant....
