My husband and I arrived and found the condo just as pictured in the listing. Everything was clean. The décor was very tasteful. The kitchen had ample counter space and everything we needed when we wanted to cook. We didn't need to run the fireplace because it was still warm weather, but it was a pretty feature in the den. The large windows in the dining room and den looking out at the trees made us feel like we were in a treehouse! The couches in the den were comfortable, and we enjoyed watching a movie each night using the owner's Netflix and Amazon accounts on the tv equipped with Roku. The free internet worked great. The owner had a book in the den with instructions, restaurant menus, etc., which was helpful. Dining on the deck was awesome. The weather was cooler and less humid than at home and was such a nice relief. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of closet space and lots of hangers. The bathrooms were supplied with hair dryers, soap, shampoo and conditioner, and fluffy towels and washcloths. Soaking in the claw foot tub after hiking to Linville Falls was especially nice. The washer and dryer were in good working order. We enjoyed steaks cooked on the grill on the deck one evening. The quaint town of Burnsville is only a 15 minute drive to restaurants, shops, grocery store, etc. There are a few standard chores to do before checking out like in most condos, but the owner allowed us a little extra time because no one was coming in behind us. She was very prompt to reply to any messages and couldn't have been more helpful. Donna T.
