Bunkyo Family Hotel

"It has a very pathetic checking in system, where patrons are required to get a queue number to do their own check-in STRICTLY ONLY FROM 2pm onwards. So you see a lot of people waiting at the lobby for 2pm to come for their queue number to be called by the staff to check in by themselves. The check-in system is very confusing requiring patrons to key in personal details, like name, date of birth, home address, email address, passport number before you get your room cards issued from the machine....

"One of the best in hotel garden that is a must visit if u visit for the first time. Rooms are big and well maintained, and i think they are one of the few hotels that does room service twice a day. Many restaurant that serves authentic Japanese cuisine. The location however is not the best if you are not willing to use the more expensive taxi. It is a 20 mins walk to the nearest train. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel but it comes every 10 mins on week days and 3 times an hour own...

"Lovely old school Japanese hotel with helpful staff in a good location. Our toilet leaked but staff were able move us to another room quickly. Also appreciated them keeping our luggage safe for a few hours between check out and departure to the airport."
