「We have family about 30 min away. The location was perfect. We did get a little lost finding the villa but the host Valerie helped us all the way. Valerie was amazing she couldn’t do any more for us. I would recommend not arriving in the dark unless you know the area. The views are amazing you could never get bored! You will need a car to get around the roads are so quiet and so smooth to drive on (we have lots of pi holes were we live). Great if you love cycling like my partner he rented a bike...

「Very quiet, but very central location in the historic town center of Scanno. Nice, clean, cosy and still sufficiently spacious accommodation - everything available required for cooking and relaxing. Grocery stores, as well as hand-made cookie & noodle shops and many other shops just around the corner. Only instructions for waste disposal were not exactly comprehensive. We (family of 4) enjoyed staying in this house for two weeks, having a second home and a base for doing spectacular hiking...

「The pictures do not do justice to this great apartment! It is fresh, modern and well appointed. Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was easy to communicate with. We were two couples traveling together and the apartment worked out well for us. The panoramic views over the old town and then the mountains beyond are breathtaking! The location is excellent for a visit to Sulmona, minutes away from sights, shops and restaurants. 」

「The host ended up being extremely kind but we never received any communication or confirmation from the host after booking. Our rental was paid in full at the time of booking and we received confirmation from VRBO about our upcoming stay (address, etc) but no response from our host when I sent her a couple different messages. The day we arrived, we tried calling the host and got no answer but we randomly ran into her on the street near the rental. She apologized and said she was having issues...
