"This is the perfect place for a quiet fall getaway for a couple or small family. There is absolutely NOTHING around (exactly what we wanted), so be prepared to BRING ALL FOOD with you!! We had a great walk over to the retreat center nearby where we saw deer and a spectacular view of the James River. For adventure and groceries we went to nearby Scottsville where we enjoyed dining and shopping. The wedding was wonderful and the property was perfect to reconnect with family during our stay."
