"An overnight stay, YHA Hobart was well located, short walk from the airport bus, across the road from a great bakery for quick breakfast and offered a good rate for a Friday night stay. Room was simple but squeaky clean with tea and coffee provided."

"Accommodation was very well-presented, nice views and included breakfast delivered to the door around 8:30am. There was a number of wallabies on the lawn outside our apartment around dusk which was a nice experience. One criticism, though, was that the room was very stuffy. Despite our best efforts, the air-conditioning kept resetting to a temperature higher than we would have liked. "

"This property is just beautiful. Perfect location in a private setting. Stunning views across the water. Lots to do and see on this Island. I recommend it to everyone looking for a great escape. House is extremely comfortable and clean."

"Absolutely gorgeous property surrounded by amazing views. It was a great opportunity to get close to the wallabies. The house is spacious and has great lighting. Beach was close by and easy to walk to. Andrea was very accommodating when we had an additional guest join us at the last minute, couldn’t be anymore grateful for that. The deck is a great place to watch the stars, we got lucky when we got to see a shooting star. Only thing would have been to extend the stay another day because it was...

"Review for RACV Hobart I recently had the pleasure of staying at RACV Hobart, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect—central to Hobart’s best attractions, with easy access to Torist Information Center, Museums, local Hospital, Synagogue, Salamanca Market, the waterfront, and fantastic dining options. The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like comfortable bedding and high-quality amenities. The views from my room were stunning, showcasing the beauty of Hobart’s cityscape and surrounding hills. Dining at the hotel was a highlight—the breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, catering to all tastes. The in-house restaurant also offered an excellent menu featuring fresh, local ingredients, which really added to the Tasmanian experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality from every team member. It’s clear that RACV Hobart prides itself on creating memorable experiences for its guests. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hobart and look forward to returning in the future. "I had to make a last minute change to my reservation, and Dave- one of the managers- was beyond helpful and kind, even though it was my fault I had to change the reservation. The hotel is a convenient walk to the Brook Street pier, where many of the tours pick up, or the tours will also pick up just around the corner from the hotel on Harrington Street. If you need to take a bus to Launceston, the Kinetic Bus stop is just 2-3 blocks walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family."
