「We loved this little apartment! Its location is excellent to walk to all the sights and restaurants of York. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. We loved its location next to the city wall- very pretty. I could see how it would be hot in the upstairs in the summer since it was a tad warm when visiting in March. We would absolutely stay again.」

「This was a really cosy place to stop. A bit of a mix up on communications for getting into the property but all sorted promptly. 」

「The hotel location is very good nearby the riverside. but the cleanliness and sanitary condition wasn't acceptable. There are too many ants in the living room,bed room as well as in the kitchen. Then I informed the landlord and he brought the Insecticide to kill most of these ants, he apologized and explained due to the weather caused so many ants moving in the house, my boy was very scared and he felt very disgusting of it. In the early morning still few ants appears from time to time, they...

「On first entering the apartment, it’s lovely, and it really is. However, the living room doesn’t have any blinds or curtains. So at night time, it’s like being in a fish bowl. Especially with Costa across the road. There isn’t anywhere for a girl to do her hair, or put her makeup on. Having said this. Iron out the small details, and it’s perfect. So thank you guys for an interesting stay 🌟🙌 」

「Lovely clean and beautifully furnished apartment, in a perfect location for all the sights and shops. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need.Excellent communication from the owner both before, during and after the visit. Really enjoyable stay. 」

「Comfortable clean home with everything we needed and 15 min walk into York,which is a lovely town with plenty of shops. Also shops nearby including a fish and chip shop. Only downside was trouble parking but we found somewhere not too far away. 」

「Property in location very near city centre, communication with agent excellent, property does require some minor maintenance which the agent accepted and said they would address ( cracked floor tiles kitchen area, fridge door does not close properly, some stains on carpet area). Overall a good property in a great location.」

「Although free parking is available, it is not on site parking, it's a 7 minute walk away. Access into the property is on the first floor (up a flight of stairs because the lift is out of order). The bedroom and bathroom are down a narrow spiral staircase, so I wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues. The booklet in the apartment states that complimentary gin and tonic is available, that was not the case. The fridge/freezer was switched off at the wall and the power was in a hidden...

「Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. 」
