Overall rating 5/10. The cabin was dirty (had to sweep the floor upon arrival & the toilet was dirty). The air conditioning could not be put lower than 72° and we are used to sleeping in 69°/70°. Thankfully they had a fan to help some. Location was ok, about a 20-30 min drive into town. I liked that it was gated and had a pool. Probably wouldn’t stay there again

First time and it was adorable. Peaceful for the most part. But no fault to the owners i went duck season opener so was early morning barking and gun shot noise. But very tranquil and every bit of relaxation i needed.

Experience for first time stay in cabin
The property is not near town and down a residential neighborhood and school. It is very secluded and on a dark road which was very difficult to get the light from our phone to see the code to open the gate. We did not stay as we did not feel safe and had hardly any cell service. It was not at all what we expected and we tried reaching out because we could not get into the lock box to obtain the keys. There were gun shots and could hear a lot of noise. We did not even unpack and drove 3 hours home that same day of our stay.

The overall stay was very peaceful and nice stay. Just a couple of things, we wished for to make it more comfortable such as: no shade at the pool/need umbrellas, no drawers or extra hooks in bedroom for clothes. However, just right for our weekend stay.

One Night
We stayed at the Longhorn cabin at Holly Creek Cabins in Broken Bow. It was nice for a one night stay. We attended a wedding in Broken Bow, so we weren’t at the cabin for the entire rental. We had a good time. It was clean and the location was beautiful. We had a couple small issues with cellular reception and not having the gate code, however the owner was just a quick phone call away once we did get reception and even answered when we were locked out later that night around 11pm— a time that I am certain they were not very excited for a call. We appreciated a quick response and solution for the situations. Overall, it was a good time with great company :)
