Bremerhaven Family Hotel

"We spent 3 weeks in the city of my parents birth. This spacious apartment is located only a couple of blocks from the main street which hosts grocery stores, restaurants, and many boutique shops. The host welcomed us with a tour of the apartment and was available to answer any questions we had. The emigration center, Wilhelm Bauer U Boat, observation tower and other sights are within walking distance. The train station is only a short taxi ride and convenient to use for tourists that are...

"There was no safe in room although other rooms include a safe. No telephone in room. As a longer term visitor, felt the need to communicate with hotel staff without traveling to front desk."

"You pay here for location, not a lot else. Rooms are ok, hotel average overall, very limited communal area (just the foyer), the 'bar' looks like an afterthought added to the end of the reception desk, breakfast pricey for what you get, staff ok but expect no more than thr average german customer service. No aircon in the rooms, which were already feeling warm in early May. Fine for business travel when just a bed needed, for anything else you will likely be disappointed."

"Sentral location. Very friendly and service orienter personell. CAR parking in designated area. Excellent breakfast buffet. We had dinner at the restaurant. Fantastisk service and food. The hotel has their own brand of gin, aquevitt, etc. We bought both. During our stay We visited the Kimahouse that was located in walking distance. Highly recommended. Our room was very nice, clean with comfortable beds. "

"The hotel was located in a great area near restaurants and shopping. It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and we had no problem communicating with anyone, even though we speak very little German. Would highly recommend the Nordsee. "
