We stay in Stonebridge several times a year. This is our first stay in this particular cabin and it is by far our worst cabin experience in Stonebridge Village.
There were many things we were willing to overlook and made a few comments through the weekend that we wouldn’t stay in this particular cabin again. Our decision was solidified when we left Sunday morning to get breakfast and returned to the cabin, only to find that we were automatically locked out. The key code no longer worked. So, here we are standing with our warm breakfast since we got it to go and can’t get into the cabin. It’s freezing outside, and our things are inside the locked cabin. It was super frustrating trying to get someone to help. The welcome center says they’re open, yet no one is there. The security officer, Terry, was the only bright spot with all this chaos. He tried and tried to help us. Sunset Nightly Rentals said they’d call us back-which they did. In the midst of this, a simple, “lets generate a new key code to get you in” would have made this scenario a much more pleasant experience, but first, she has to make comments about how she can’t believe the key code doesn’t work, etc. Well, heck yes! I can’t believe it either, but let’s offer a quick solution instead of talking about the problem. We will never stay here again or with any property managed by Sunset.
