Not Quite What the ad says
We recently stayed at this VRBO cottage for a week to celebrate my birthday with friends. While we had an overall good time, there were several issues that didn't match the listing description and could use attention. Check-In: The check-in process was very easy and hassle-free. Misleading Bathroom Information: The listing advertises two 3-piece bathrooms, but in reality, there's only one full bathroom. The other bathroom downstairs only has a toilet and sink, which was quite disappointing. Cleanliness: The cottage was not as clean as expected. The carpets were heavily stained and had an unpleasant odor, likely from a wet dog. Additionally, there were numerous cobwebs throughout the house, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Deck and Boat Area: The back deck is very old and seems dangerously close to giving way. It definitely needs urgent repairs. The deck around the boat house is extremely slippery when wet and needs a good pressure wash for safety reasons. Positives: Despite these issues, we enjoyed our week at the cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the sunroom was a beautiful place to relax. These aspects of the house were highlights of our stay. Wi-Fi Issues: We experienced problems with the Wi-Fi during our stay. Unfortunately, instead of the host handling the situation, we had to meet with the Bell technician ourselves at 9 am, which was inconvenient. In summary, while there were enjoyable aspects of our stay, the property needs some attention

Short stay for work
I stayed at this property with 2 other coworkers to do a job in the area. We were there for 6 days, 5 nights. It was a lovely place to stay and really close to everything we needed. The manager had everything laid out to make our stay as easy as possible, which was especially important since we were in the area to work and didn't have much time to explore. My coworker is actually interested in coming back sometime. I would definitely recommend!

Comfortable and Priced Well
We had a lovely stay - the cottage was comfortable but was missing towels and the fireplaces did not work unfortunately. Otherwise everything was in place. There are aspects that have some wear-tear to them but the price that was charged in comparison to other places seems to have taken that into consideration. We were pleased and satisfied and were happy to have gotten away.

Sandbar Lane
The property was in very good condition and well appointed. It was conveniently located near Bracebridge for shopping and restaurants. The only downsides were that the neighboring properties are very close together. On on side there were a number of small children which tended to be loud and liked to throw rocks in the general area I was fishing. Also, the high volume of speed boats and Ski-dos who paid no attention to the No-wake rules made for some dangerous times in our canoe. Almost got swamped several times. Lastly, the No toilet paper in the septic is understandable but awkward. The bidet shoots ice cold, high pressure water. A freezing enema first thing in the morning works better than coffee to wake you up

Beautiful great place
This property is an amazing property great location close to town.. was an amazing stay although the hot tub was one of the main features i wanted took three days ti get to temperature so i would just suggest starting the heating up process at least 2.5 days before guest arrive… was also looking forward to cozying up by the indoor fireplace which was u available. So would also suggest mentioning that in the add.. but ither then that the place was amazing and we loved our stay..
