We were told by the staff upon check in that we could have a room with a view of the harbor but that the room was not ready and we were told that we would have a couple of hours to wait and that we would receive a text message when the room was ready - at least by 4 pm. We waited until 5 pm and still no text so we went back to the desk only to be checked in to a room that was low and without a view. The manager that was on was VERY rude and unhelpful. She actually enjoyed telling us that the room that was supposed to be for us had been given away and lied that she was unaware that it was promised to us - despite the fact that the day shift desk folks had, in fact, passed the information along both verbally and in the computer. We never received any text that a room was even available and her attitude was, in essence, "oh well, that's just too bad". It certainly soured our experience as we had really been looking forward to celebrating a special occasion over the weekend.
