We love La Casa del Zorro - it’s a fabulous sanctuary away from city congestion. Only 2 hours from San Diego. We love the pools and jacuzzis and dog friendly atmosphere. The star gazing area is a bonus. We will definitely be back!

This is a very nice hotel in Borrego Springs, though quite pricey for what you get. Pools left a little to be desired and general location doesn’t have much nearby. Would be nice if they had a convenience store onsite for essentials if forgotten. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good but service was slow in cafe and restaurant. Tennis and pickleball courts were nice.

Disliked: Staff & service
Dark, dingy rooms and bar. No breakfast. No housekeeping. Staff is not at all welcoming. We (and others) were prohibited from enjoying our cocktails on the terrace because it was part of the "restaurant" despite the fact the restaurant was empty. This place has potential, but needs different staff and management.
