Plaza Etoile is definatly a boutique 3 star hotel, rooms are really quirky shapes breakfast was excellant

Property didn’t recognize VIP benefit room upgrade offered but for fee

When I arrived at the Hotel, I was extremely stressed due to having my phone stolen earlier on in the evening, had no access to my contacts or emails and was lucky to remember the name of the hotel as I have memory issues. Bertille, who was on the desk that night, restored my faith in people as she offered kind words, let me use the computer and phone to try to get in touch with important services and people, even booking a cab for me as I no longer had a phone to do this. Without her help, my journey to the next country would have been a disaster- if even possible. Her patience and determination in going above and beyond for people is unwavering, as I witnessed through interactions with people that came through during the evening. People can be helpful in these situations, but I've never experienced anything like it. It wasn't the places that were the highlight of my day in paris, but this. As for the rooms, pressure of the showers is absolutely outstanding. Clean, great lighting, tasteful colour scheme. For the money, the best deal you'll get in Paris. How this is apparently a two star hotel boggles the mind!

If I can give it more than 5 stars, I would. They are excellent in every way starting with their top notch and friendly customer service (24/7), clean hotel, and well maintained rooms. For my fellow American travelers, this is a typical -but an amazing- boutique Parisian hotel with a very sweet and cozy feel to it, very charming, elegant, sophisticated, cute, romantic, and yes… with very small rooms and facilities. But who needs more sleeping space in Paris when we will be spending all our days outside visiting the city? This hotel is literally a walking distance to so many amazing places in Paris (Seine, Louvre, Champs Elysee, shopping, tons of restaurants, metro, buses, trains, etc… you can’t go wrong. We looooooved this hotel so much, loved their hosts, and really enjoyed their customer service experience. We will be back for sure! They made us feel home.
