This is a beautiful property, well appointed and very comfortable.
We loved this place but there was an electrical problem. The lights flashed when using the microwave and toaster. The bidet made the lights in the bedroom flicker. The Wifi was not working and the landline phone did not work because it is wifi based. We had no landline, flickering lights, and no emergency line because the cell coverage in the area was spotty. We had to walk across the street to get enough bars to make or receive calls. The property manger was very responsive but could not get help to solve these problems during our stay so we had no emergency phone access and we were concerned about the electrical problem throughout our stay. We have an ill elderly family member and could not be reached in case of emergency. Too bad, this is a beautiful place. We asked for a price reduction or credit but have not heard anything from the manager yet.

We had a fantastic experience staying in Carmen— the house's features were outstanding, and the ocean views were simply enchanting. The property was spotless and equipped with new appliances. We'd happily return multiple times! The reason for the 4-star rating lies in our experience with Vacasa. Upon leaving, I realized I'd left behind a sentimental book. We were an hour away, so I assumed contacting Vacasa to have it shipped back would be simple. However, their response was slow, and a week later, they informed me they couldn't locate the book. Direct communication with the property manager could have expedited resolving this issue.

My husband and I spent three days here escaping the valley heat. The house was wonderful - beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Loved the front deck with an ocean view.
