Beautiful Cabin with scenic views.

This was our 2nd time staying at this cabin. The game room is a favorite for the kids with a pool table, Foosball and Keyboard. We love that the cabin comes equipped with plenty of extra pillows and blankets, and a blow up mattress. Overall, the cabin is very roomy, with large porches and a live firplace on the entrance porch. Will stay here again!

Moon Kiss Cabin

Me and my family really enjoyed this cabin, bedrooms had plenty of space, fireplaces were wonderful, the view from the back porch is breathtaking, i will definitely be back.

Beautiful Cabin, Beautiful View!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. We enjoyed the porch fireplace, and the game room. The Keyboard piano was a definite plus! The drive to the cabin was not bad, very scenic with the mountain view and wildlife.

Great view

We loved the layout and the great views. The cabin was very clean. It is a bumpy and at times very steep 10 minute drive up to the cabin, but we thought it was well worth it. It is about a 25 minute drive into the downtown area which was nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view!

The cabin was beautiful and had an amazing view off the large back deck. We loved the wood burning fireplace on the side porch along with the two gas fireplaces inside. The jetted garden tub was a wonderful way to relax at the end of the day. The gas grill worked perfectly with extra fuel which was very nice. The game room downstairs was lots of fun! There are a total of 5 porches/decks that we enjoyed at different times of the day/evening. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to coming back soon.

Wonderful Moon Kiss stay

We had 2 weeks at Moon Kiss. A wonderful restful retreat. Well appointed and we enoyed the views and pool table/foosball. Only dissapointment was the lack of a well screened-in porch which would have been nice since it was bee season in the area. Of note: complaints from previous guests h.ad all been addressed and "fixed" so they really do pay attention to the property and the reviews. I would return to Moon Kiss

Cabin was immaculate and the view was AMAZING!

Cabin was perfect for a 22nd anniversary for just the two of us but would also be perfect for I'd say up to six would be pushing it (Family of 4 No problem)...The view from the cabin I could see the entire Blue Ridge Mountain Range...The first 100 yards of the road up was a bit sketchy but after that it opened up and was a piece of cake...Deer we're everywhere...! The fireplaces worked well, the billards table was nice and it was peaceful. Roughly 10-12 minutes to get down the mountain road and then about 10 more minutes and you're in downtown blue ridge...What can I say...??? I have nothing negative to say about this cabin. If I was gng to say anything they need to add dresser drawers so you don't have to live out of your suitcase....Other than that move the grill on the deck and it's all good.

Not bad, not great

Driveway needs better description, it’s on and off pavement and gravel/dirt. It didn’t feel homie, felt like it was furnished a step above the bare minimum. There was not a lot of character. Its on a shared well, so there are signs saying conserve water and it made you feel rushed and worried about the other house not having water. There was a lack of amenities. Small beds. But my wife’s disappointment with the lack of features in the home is why it gets 3 stars. But, the view is a 5 star view! It’s worth 5 stars alone.

Mountain stay

We loved our mountain cabin stay immensely. The place was beautiful with close proximity to everything. So much to do in the area. Such an amazing time. Only cons…cabin front porch screens are in bad shape with the door missing. Without the patio door and rough shape screens we couldn’t really enjoy that nice space. There were humongous bees, never seen bees this big before. Prior reviews mentioned bees too, something owners should look into. The body was larger than a half-dollar coin and dragon flies were enormous. Property owner should really think about bug control and fixing the screen patio. We saw 3 bears walk through front yard as we pulled up on day 1. The screen patio being properly screened and the door attached would have provided some peace of mind to sit out there. We noticed from upstairs the gutters on property are plugged with weeds growing out of them, possibly causing bug infestation. Also, the property was really clean but Cobb webs and large dust bunnies all over. Possibly property not rented recently but would suggest property owner to pay attention to this prior to renter arriving. Overall the property location, cleanliness, comfort level and amenities were great! We will definitely be coming back. See you again soon Blue Ridge!

Great Family Getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. The pictures and description of the Cabin are very accurate. I traveled with my wife, two young children, and our dog. So we had more than enough space and spent most of our cold nights downstairs playing pool, watching tv, and warming up by the gas fireplace. The views during the daytime are surreal and the deck is very spacious. Definitely recommend for Families. A few things to note, and these are not necessarily bad things but just things to be aware of if you do not travel to cabins in the mountains often. We go once a year so we are pretty used to it. - The cabin is off of a non paved road and most of the road only has enough space for one vehicle to pass at a time. If two vehicles are traveling in opposite directions, one will have to pull off to allow the other to pass. Speed limit is 15mph so you wont have to worry about anybody coming flying toward you. -The trip from the main road up to cabin takes roughly about 15 mins. So add that to any trips up and down the mountain. - I usually travel in my pickup truck but it was in the shop so we had to take my wife's 2 wheel front drive volks wagon atlas. Not ideal. Had we gotten bad weather we could have potentially had trouble getting up and down the mountain. Luckily for us, we did not have any bad weather. I'd definitely recommend 4 wheel drive or at least stopping at Walmart to pick up some tire chains just in case you need them. You can always return them if you don't.

Beautiful views and nice cabin but for the costs (almost 700 in fees) would expect that there wouldn't be dead bugs hanging on cobwebs, a shower that backs up, and a screen porch door that doesn't close properly, banging throughout the night. The other door was totally missing. No rugs create a loud environment. Lady bugs, while cute when there's one in a garden, are less cute when they're dropping on you in the bathroom. When the water went out the night before we were checkng out, was told the manager would contact us the next day (no resoulution that night) but did didn't hear from anyone, including the check-out text, until I texted Vacasa to say that we had left. Even then, it was another hour before the manager reached out. P.S- I hope the cleaner picked up the dead mice downstairs that we found while trying to find the water pump. They missed french fries and a tennis ball from last tenants. Would not book again.

Decent cabin

The cabin was pretty good all in all. There was a pull out bed that was in poor repair but it was a good stay for the guys. If our families would have been with us there would have been more issues.

Overall I was satisfied with my stay, the refrigerator they have on the site with the ice maker and water dispenser isn't what they have at the location, so besides well water which is highly advised to use considerably because it's shared, didn't think to get bottle water and no where have they posted the other refrigerator...
