Lovely Setting!

This was a very private, quiet place with amazing views of the forest. The lockbox was very difficult to operate, but we eventually got in! We would definitely come back again!

Close but secluded.

Close to Rapid City and Sturgis but the property itself felt secluded. Wild turkey and deer all day. Comfortable house that would have slept many families.

70th Birthday Gathering

Sixteen people from the ages of 4 to 70 gathered from Montana, Minnesota and Georgia to share in the 70th birthday party for the families mother and grandmother. Blackhawk supplied the room for all of the age groups to get away from each other and also to all share in a wonderful party together. Accommodations were excellent in every way! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the bedrooms had comfortable beds as well! Time well spent at this great rental!

50th Anniversary

This VRBO was great! Very clean and accommodating. We had my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration with about 18 people staying there. Would definitely recommend this rental and we hope to come back someday! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to gather for an event

We used this place to gather for my son’s graduation from college. It was enjoyed by all of us. The deck and the wildlife were a hit! We had 14 adults and 2 kids stay overnight and 20 for the celebration. We had ample space for everyone. The location was perfect! Thank you for the enjoyable stay.

Absolutely Beautiful & Peaceful

We spend Independence Day weekend at this property. It is absolutely beautiful...We didn't want to leave. The house is fully stocked with everything you need, the property manager quickly responed to any questions and concerns we had. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone interested in staying here.

Perfect getaway at the end of the day

This was a wonderful place to relax and unwind after a long day of touring around the Black Hills. We had 16 people (6 adults and 10 children) ranging from toddlers to pre-teen and the house met every family’s needs. It was nice and clean and was warm and welcoming. You can tell the owner takes pride in this house. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay near the Black Hills!

Perfect!!

We had such a wonderful time staying here! Our whole family, parents kids and grands came up for a long weekend to attend my grandson's football game against a Rapid City team. The house was perfect for all ages. Enough room for everyone to have a bed, the kitchen was large large and well supplied, the karge dining table was great for meals together and fames. The outdoor seating was wonderful and the wildlife that came to visit often thro the day was entertaining. The youger grands were thrilled! Our only negatve comment was that there were sunflower seeds on the carpet and baseboard heat in the bedroom we stayed in and the sheets in my son's bedroom were noticeably stained with some creepy looking substance. Otherwise the housr was spotless. We were just so impressex with this house and the beauty surr4it, we hope to go there again!

Clean & Well-Stocked!

We had a great time at this property. Everything was super and the only negative is the air conditioning. We happened to visit during very hot weather and without central air, it was uncomfortable on the main level. Bedrooms and the basement area were comfortable. And I'm sure it is just fine for most of the months during the year. Our hostess went above and beyond with great communication and even dropped by wine glasses, a wine-bottle opener and a great bottle of wine! Super kind. She was also very attentive with all communication.

Positives ,, Made large group work, even used bunkhouse, kids enjoyed private space. Nice having large table for meals and games.Enjoyed seeing wildlife around every day. Kitchen well stocked with utensils. Enjoyed shaded patio areas.Grill worked greatMade best of it and really enjoyed our family time together.Not so positive.. AC was in bedrooms only. No AC in living area. Had to push cool air from bedrooms with box fans. Water leak in kitchen while there. Outside was messy with pine cone pieces on furniture and patio area.All remotes for electronics had batteries missing2 bedrooms very small, others very comfortable

Extended family stayed for my daughters wedding at Generations Weddings & Events (3 miles to the east) ~ absolutely amazing and plenty of room. Wonderful Home for a Family

This home was PERFECT for our extended family of 14! We loved the layout, ample bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, and the extra space in the garage was a great "man cave" for the High School boys in our family! :) The location was wonderful - very quiet and secluded, yet close enough to that you can easily drive to all of the amazing sites in the area. The home was very clean and a peaceful getaway for our family. Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us!

Black Hills Vacay!

We took our kids and Grands here. Beautiful setting and centrally located to everything we wanted to see!! Amenities were great but there could have been more toilet paper and garbage bags as we had to go buy some..which wasn’t a huge deal! Overall we highly recommend this place ! Thank you for a fun filled week!

Home away from home

Wow, This house was perfect. It is in a perfect location to everything. It was in a beautiful rustic setting with deer & turkey out the dining room window every morning & night. The house is large and is stocked with everything you need. It was clean and was unbelievably spacious. With five bedroom & 3 1/2 baths no one was on top of each other. The manager was a great communicator. She answered all our questions. Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful!

This vrbo was absolutely perfect for our multi-family vacation! It was clean, beautiful, and well supplied! Fit our families perfectly! The location was wonderful as well. It had beautiful scenery, including much wildlife to watch, close to tourist destinations, and room for the cousins to run, play & pretend together!
