Lovely Setting!
This was a very private, quiet place with amazing views of the forest. The lockbox was very difficult to operate, but we eventually got in! We would definitely come back again!

70th Birthday Gathering
Sixteen people from the ages of 4 to 70 gathered from Montana, Minnesota and Georgia to share in the 70th birthday party for the families mother and grandmother. Blackhawk supplied the room for all of the age groups to get away from each other and also to all share in a wonderful party together. Accommodations were excellent in every way! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the bedrooms had comfortable beds as well! Time well spent at this great rental!

Perfect!!
We had such a wonderful time staying here! Our whole family, parents kids and grands came up for a long weekend to attend my grandson's football game against a Rapid City team. The house was perfect for all ages. Enough room for everyone to have a bed, the kitchen was large large and well supplied, the karge dining table was great for meals together and fames. The outdoor seating was wonderful and the wildlife that came to visit often thro the day was entertaining. The youger grands were thrilled! Our only negatve comment was that there were sunflower seeds on the carpet and baseboard heat in the bedroom we stayed in and the sheets in my son's bedroom were noticeably stained with some creepy looking substance. Otherwise the housr was spotless. We were just so impressex with this house and the beauty surr4it, we hope to go there again!

Close but secluded.
Close to Rapid City and Sturgis but the property itself felt secluded. Wild turkey and deer all day. Comfortable house that would have slept many families.

50th Anniversary
This VRBO was great! Very clean and accommodating. We had my parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration with about 18 people staying there. Would definitely recommend this rental and we hope to come back someday! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great time at this property. Everything was super and the only negative is the air conditioning. We happened to visit during very hot weather and without central air, it was uncomfortable on the main level. Bedrooms and the basement area were comfortable. And I'm sure it is just fine for most of the months during the year. Our hostess went above and beyond with great communication and even dropped by wine glasses, a wine-bottle opener and a great bottle of wine! Super kind. She was also very attentive with all communication.

We used this place to gather for my son’s graduation from college. It was enjoyed by all of us. The deck and the wildlife were a hit! We had 14 adults and 2 kids stay overnight and 20 for the celebration. We had ample space for everyone. The location was perfect! Thank you for the enjoyable stay.

Wow, This house was perfect. It is in a perfect location to everything. It was in a beautiful rustic setting with deer & turkey out the dining room window every morning & night. The house is large and is stocked with everything you need. It was clean and was unbelievably spacious. With five bedroom & 3 1/2 baths no one was on top of each other. The manager was a great communicator. She answered all our questions. Our family enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This vrbo was absolutely perfect for our multi-family vacation! It was clean, beautiful, and well supplied! Fit our families perfectly! The location was wonderful as well. It had beautiful scenery, including much wildlife to watch, close to tourist destinations, and room for the cousins to run, play & pretend together! Many memories made here and would highly recommend!

We chose this place because we had 15 people getting together for a family reunion--seven adults and eight kids ages 8 to 15. We had plenty of space to spread out. There were Murphy beds in the garage providing extra mattresses for our group, which were a big help. The kitchen was well-supplied, there were several "living areas" allowing for a variety of activities at the same time, and the outdoor surroundings were great. Our one disappointment was that the rental was advertised as having air conditioning. Every other place we have been that has always meant central air conditioning. In this home there was only one window air conditioner along with ceiling fans and box fans to help move the cool air around. I think if we had been there during a particularly warm spell, it might have gotten somewhat uncomfortable. Everything else about the place was wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful as well as the landscaping. The location was great. We felt like we were close to town to do things, but when we came home we were out of town and secluded in the beautiful Black Hills. We LOVED the front porch! Wonderful space to gather and enjoy! Definitely recommend it!
