「Comfortable and spacious, close to the town centre and facilities such as Countdown and restaurants. Was sent the address after we had started our trip and had to chase the manager for it. Apparently there was a glitch in the system. Perhaps because the bathroom is new, (with a great tub!), there weren't any towel rails or a shower basket/shelves (found a broken one under the sink).」

「We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has everything needed and is very nicely decorated and well-kept, clean and comfortable. The road noise from early morning traffic may not be to the liking of some, but reminds us of wake up time. The host was very helpful to make sure we knew how to use the very modern induction hob and oven. The people we met were a delight, very friendly and helpful. It was an ideal spot to drive around the vicinity and tour.」

「Tidy, modern amenities and comfortable house with a gorgeous view. Our family enjoyed our stay - especially the comfortable beds. It was a good base for us to visit family in the area. We were able to park in the car port and navigate the steep driveway in a large family car. Had the feeling of a nice hotel with lots more space.」

「We enjoyed our stay at The Old Confectionary Apartment. Access and communications were excellent, and we found everything as advertised. It was clean and comfortable, with extra blankets and good heat for the cold night. Plenty of hot water. I do think the bedspreads are a little dated, almost like they came out of grandma's trunk. But that's not necessarily a negative. A wonderful stay in a great location.」
