「We mainly came to stay to go to 2 operas at Glyndebourne and catch up with friends. We loved the Old Dairy, comfortable and well equipped and ideal for the 4 of us. We loved our visits to Firle Place and to Farleys. We hope to return next year.」

「We stayed in the cottage at Tovey Lodge. It was very dated, which was fine, but it was also worn out. The sofa bed needs replacing due to peeling material and the mattress on this was so thin there is no way an adult could sleep on there. Luckily our 7 year old can sleep anywhere. The main bed was uncomfortable with a too small mattress topper which didn't reach the edges and because of this we only stayed for two of the three nights we had booked as we needed sleep. 「Beautiful cottage, well furnished and fitted out to very high standard. We found it extremely comfortable and could not fault it in any way. The countryside location is attractive and wonderfully peaceful. Good pubs in local villages, close to Eastbourne and coast, with lots to see, do and walk. A great break.」

「Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. 」

「A very pleasant long weekend at North Lodge. Location is peaceful but well located, plenty of amenities nearby. The house is cute and full of character. The kitchen/diner is a particularly nice space with patio doors out to the pretty little garden with mature shrubs and seating area. The kitchen is very well appointed. 「Very happy with the house and location. Tasteful decoration. Good size rooms. Lovely garden. Parking for 2 cars. Responsive, helpful hosts.」

「Property is in a great location, an old beautiful cottage. Everything was excellent. The shower was luke warm, but couldn't fault anything else. I had problems with the App so contacted the owner who was very helpful. A lovely stay - thank you」

「The property was clean and the garden was an added bonus with children. I would certainly recommend this property to others. It would suggest having dish towels for the kitchen.」

「Unusual property right in the centre of Seaford and close to the beach. I was able to park close by and parking outside is possible overnight. If the owner sorts out the hot water and TV signal issues it will be brilliant.」

「The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...
