"This is a great property to stay at. A basement apartment (approximately 12 stairs down) in a quiet neighborhood that is stocked with everything you need as well as some of the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room supplies that you will need. The hosts were great! They made sure I had whatever I needed, answered all my "tourist" questions but at the same time didn't bother me unnecessarily. They made sure that the parking spot that is reserved for their guests is ALWAYS free of snow and ice which for someone like me who isn't used to driving in those conditions is a great bonus. On check-out day I had a late flight so the hosts offered to let me stay late because they didn't have a check-in that day. That probably won't happen for everyone but it gives some insight into the great personalities of the hosts. I have absolutely no complaints about the property, hosts, or area. When I come back to Anchorage I will try to stay here again. This location is about 20 minutes to JBER and about 15 from the airport. "

"Super cute spot right in the heart of Girdwood, within walking distance to many places. They have a couple of dog-friendly rooms which I think is great (we didn't bring our pup but it's nice to know we can in the future). The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. My only qualm was the bathroom was a sliding barn door style that doesn't lock, so true bathroom privacy can only be had if someone leaves the room, lol! But if you're comfortable with that or traveling solo, this is perfect. Also I believe a few of the other rooms have a different bathroom situation, a shared bathroom outside of the rooms that does lock, so that's also an option. Overall it was a great location and a great price - I'll defniitely be staying there again!"

"After we got to this beautiful property, we wish we had longer to stay. We were leaving early the next morning for the airport. It was a beautiful space for a couple or single person. I loved their idea of a cabinet for sharing… Leave some thing and take some thing. Such a great idea that I will be using it in my vacation rentals that I own. I would definitely stay there again, if given the opportunity to come to Alaska!"

"I came in for a doctors appointment in Anchorage and stayed here with my husband and two dogs. It was nice to be out of the city and I have the gorgeous views everywhere. I was able to get the rest and relaxation needed after the appointment. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, Spacious and beautiful views out the window. This is our go to spot whenever we come to Anchorage because it’s out of the city, quiet and everything we need is right there. Cannot say enough about this place."

"Place was nice and had all the things needed for 2 people. Kitchen supplies were better than most places with all upgrades pots and pans and utensils. Ladder might be a problem for some getting up to the loft for some. Only complaint is the door code was malfunctioning and had to wait for a back up person to come and open the door with a key from the key lock box. 1.5 hours to get in. Owner does not need to have a 10 digit code to open a door. In all my travels 4 to 5 code is efficient. And male sure batteries are fully charged at all times on the security lock."
