You can't get any more in-town than this. The unit is located in a commercial building containing a quiet sushi restaurant, an art gallery, a trading post gift shop, and a couple of real estate companies. They all shut down in the late afternoon and the restaurant closes at 8pm.
If you've read other reviews, you'll note that the Garden Bar next door plays live music until 2am, but only on Fridays and Saturdays. Really, it's not that bad as the bar is on the living room side, but bring earplugs anyway just in case. Parking is a challenge, but give yourself a few extra minutes and you'll find a decent spot. We were here in late June and could still find parking every time.
This unit was designed well and filled with the little things you'll need; soap, TP, towels, dishes, flatware, etc. My only complaint is that the washing machine was out of order and we didn't know that ahead of time. We brought enough clothes not to need it, but if you are planning on having one be sure to ask before reserving. I didn't see any nearby laundromats.
