"This cabin was exactly the privacy and lack of inernet/cell service we desperately needed. Spacious enough that we're debating bringing a group next time! Some of the old VHS tapes and equipment/anemities were like a step back in time. Quiet, charming, and within driving distance (30-40 miles) of many great hiking spots and food. Honestly can't wait to come back!"

"A cozy stay in the woods! We had a great stay- plenty of beds, a well equipped kitchen, and a great location. We were there in the winter so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake, but the house is only 15 minutes away from world class skiing at the Birkie Trailhead! The converted garage was also a great addition. We recommend! 10/10"

"This place was perfect for what we needed. The front porch was the highlight of our mornings, drinking coffee in the rocking chairs. It’s within close distance to all the things we were hoping to get to, Bayfield and the apostle islands. It may be due for a bug treatment as there were lots of spiders throughout the house, but other than that this place was awesome!"

It provided everything we wanted, spacious kitchen, dining room, huge living room & comfortable bedrooms. "5 sisters stayed from Nov 1-5, 2024. Place was cozy could have used a good dusting, but other than that it was wonderful. Right on superior even though it was chilly the view is awesome. Had a great time went shopping and out to eat. It is close to a lot of shops just a few miles down the road. Thank you for allowing us to stay. "
