"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "It is absolutely the best place if you don't want a touristy area, are self sufficient and happy to get on with things. Two weeks here will gladden your soul and set you up for the daily grind at home. The apartment has everything you need and overlooks the beach and pending on time of year/weather the sea is to die for swimming wise. We love it so much we have been twice and will go back again but southern Italy is not for the faint hearted. Driving is tricksy and some basic Italian helps....
