Relaxing cabin stay
Clean, quiet home on a large property between LaPine and Sunriver. Great homebase for hiking the area, fishing at LaPine State Park, and exploring Paulina. Smaller kitchen, but it had everything you could need. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Great family getaway
Exactly what we were hoping for! The upstairs is perfect for kids, it had everything and more we could have needed. We were out site seeing and visiting all the local lakes and attractions during the day, the cabin was a perfect centrally located spot to come back to every evening. I was nervous about booking (this was our first time), but it went smoothly and was worth every penny. Made great memories!

Tall Pines
We enjoyed our stay. We played horse shoes, made a campfire and did alot of hiking. It's a nice piece of property with lots of room. It was a fairly quiet neighbourhood with the exception of one neighbour that constantly revved a car engine every day. I would recommend leaving a small vacuum cleaner. We always took our shoes off, but some pine needles would still manage to make their way in with the dog. Overall we had a good time and would definitely stay again.

Rustic Cabin
Don’t let looks deceive you, this place is fairly big on the inside and I wish we could have spent a weekend there. The stargazing was the best least noise pollution I have ever experienced. Things to consider: definitely if you have temperature sensitive dogs come prepared. The AC unit is only for upstairs and it isn’t effective for that type of need. Thankfully we came in as it was cooling off and it never really got below 50 degrees overnight. Teen took over the loft, thankful for the wifi. I took over the futon and watched Ted Lasso with our dog Logan while Wifey and Bella slept in the bedroom downstairs. Best plumbing the entire trip, rustic and so cute. Barbara was a super friendly and helpful host! If the chance to come back for a weekend arises I will do, maybe for a meteor shower!

Clean and comfortable place. We did not get a chance to take advantage of all that this place has to offer, but still had a nice time. The only downfall is the short bit of road getting to the driveway. If you have a choice of driving a sedan/sports car or a truck/SUV, go for the truck/SUV. My Camry did not like the road.

The place was very nice and had plenty of space for what we needed. It fit 5 adults and a small dog comfortably. The location was perfect wasn’t to far from town, and was fairly close to the Paulina lake area.

CABIN in the pines
Just a simple little A-frame surounded by tall pines, beds are comfy and the decks provided much needed R&R. The visits from the bunnies made the stay more fun.

Not luxury but everything we needed
Think cabin in the woods that your grandma has had for a long time. We had a fun time playing cards and watching DVDs. Somethings could have been cleaner or updated but we found everything we needed and stayed for three nights while skiing Mt. Bachelor.

Small and simple
This property is small, sweet and simple. It has enough room to host a handful of guests but there is not much room in the kitchen so if your huge on cooking or even picky about it this isn’t the space for you. We however don’t mind a challenge or small spaces but we where gone a majority of the time during the day . The space is next to a semi busy road but overall at night it’s pretty quiet. The space upstairs in the loft area is pretty big and good to store all your things if needed. My one concern is the step Spacing ., they are rather step but I bridge they are spaced to far apart making it difficult to go down. The beds are comfortable And more On the soft side opposed to firm. We always bring our own towels and blankets and pillows as I’m Just that picky but everything seemed to Be clean. I could see some Good upgrade potential for a lot like this but we enjoyed the time we did spend there and the Simplicity of It . Thank you !

We had to cut our trip short due to wildfire smoke in the area impacting one of our children’s health and disrupting our plans to kayak and hike all weekend. Barbara could not have been more supportive, understanding and accommodating. The cabin is great, just as pictured and described. We will be back another time!

Disappointed and gross
This property is cute, but is in desperate need of maintenance and cleaning. My first impression was the deck on the front has uneven boards and a tripping hazard for anyone with mobility issues. Entering the cabin I noticed the carpet was in horrible condition, very worn and horrible stained and dirty. It was gross. The kitchen reeked of mildew which I determined to be old sponges. I reached for a plate and found a greasy fingerprint on the plate. I washed all the dishes before I used them. The microwave also smelled horrible from burned food in the past. The window sills/tracks were full of dead bugs, apparently not cleaned in years. Also there were a number of screens missing or had holes. The worst of all was the bathroom. The tile floor was filthy. The grout was covered in dirt and mold and yuck. The shower stall had so much mold and dirt caked on the caulking it was disgusting. The floor of the shower was filthy as well. And to top it off the towels were stained, grimy from use and need to be thrown away. If there had been a washer and dryer I would have bought new towels for myself. All the sinks ran slow and would back up with water. I was surprised how close the unit was to a fairly busy road, which did create a vehicle noise at night. The stairs to the loft are very steep and the steps are very tall. Be prepared. We paid over $260 a night and expected a lot more. I knew the property was small, but I expected it to be well cared for and CLEAN. We will never go back.

We went up to la pine for a family reunion. The cabin was clean and plenty of room. The cabin was dog friendly which was a plus. They had lots of items, games and movies. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. The Property was near the rivers, lakes and national parks. Amazing stay.
