"Lovely clean, well appointed apartment with plenty of room for the four of us. Don’t under-estimate the red run to get to the lift in the morning though, given the height and climate it made for an icy run most mornings. The piste basher was a welcome sight on the nights it was bashed. Altogether a great stay in a great location, easy to head over to les arcs via the vanoise express or into La plagne. "We had a wonderful week's ski holiday staying in Chantel and Caroline's chalet. The chalet is very spacious with great facilities, especially the hot tub. The location is fantastic, quiet and away from other properties with amazing views. A little bit of a walk to the piste, which was further for us due to the spring conditions but only a few minutes drive down to the village where there was plenty of free parking."

When I contacted owner was advised that previous tennants have probably haven't cleaned the property and she will leave bad review for them. "We love the place and we booked to come back next year! Gilles was communicative and helpful, the place was beautiful and comfortable. We were worried about driving up to Montchavin but it was fine and we always found parking even in the mêlée of half-term week. From here were able to ski all the way to Champagny on the La Plagne side, and in Les Arcs down the Aiguille Rouge."

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"We stayed over New year and had a really great time. Marcel was able to assist when required and clear with communication. We stayed as 10 adults which was fine and suited us. "We had an excellent stay at the chalet, which is perfectly placed for the slopes and not far form the town of Les Coches.The facilities in the chalet were great.Worth noting that there is only one oven, which if you pack the chalet with 15 people, as we did, then cooking takes a bit of time management, but otherwise, fantastic chalet and would happily return!"
