"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping."

"cerises sur le gateau" un magnifique couche de soleil nous a enchantés. "The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"Das Haus ist sehr schön und absolut ruhig gelegen. Der Ort ist sehr klein, aber man direkt von dort zu schönen Spaziergängen starten. Der nächste Bäcker mit leckerem Brot und Croissants ist mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten zu erreichen - in Nuars. Abel hat uns herzlichen in Empfang genommen. Er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns auch Honig vom ortsansässigen Imker besorgt - sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten gibt es in der Nähe (ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto) einen schönen Badesee, der nicht zu überlaufen...

"Naomi's gite in Montreal was perfect for my needs and Naomi was kind and accommodating throughout my stay. The house in which the gite is located is on the highway into Montreal but it is not noisy and I was able to leave the windows open at night and not be bothered by traffic sounds. The gite is spacious and well-equipped; Naomi has outfitted the kitchen to enable guests to do their own cooking. The village of Montreal is tres petite and charming, but has no grocery store to speak of, so...
