Baru Island Pet-friendly Hotel

"For the price we paid per night ($600 for a family of 4), the food was really pretty poor. It was disappointing and the worst we had on our 3 week trip to Colombia. No options for kids. We were told every lunch would be buffet, only one out of four ended up being buffet. We were given the a la carte menu to choose from, whilst this may sound appealing, there was only one starter and four mains. Fish was terrible, such a shame for being on an island. "We truly enjoyed our stay here, the grounds were clean, the staff was attentive and friendly, chill music, and good food. The beach is great and relaxing with nobody hassling you. One of our lunches we had to wait 2 hours, but aside from that it was a great getaway. "
