Snow Skiing Trip
The unit was nice with a nice view. The listing that I searched for was ski-in/Ski-out which was far from the truth. Nowhere did it mention you had to take a shuttle just to get to your car. When I told the front desk we would like to leave by 6 am I was told the shuttle would not start till 7 am. They would not allow skies in the building and was told to leave them in your car, because anyone could get in the ski locker room and they could be stolen. They made you park below the gated entrance and take a shuttle to the car. Hard to go anywhere when the car is full of skies. The host contacted me several times to see what time we would arrive and said that if the unit was ready they would let us know and if early check in would be $20 and hour for early check in. We pulled up at 3 and the guard said no one was allowed in till after 4, which is fine. When we came back at 5 we had to sit at the gate for 30 minutes because no one was answering at the front desk. It was after 6 before we could finally check in and get to our room. Because once you unload your car you had to take it back down to one of the parking lots below the gate and wait on the shuttle to take you back up. This place is awful for skiing. I should have known with only one 5 star review and no others. I don't believe this unit should be listed as a 13 minute walk to the slope. The lady at the front desk said you had to drive to ski and no way to walk to the slope.

Almost Heaven
The property was beautiful, clean, offering incredible views, conveniences of a home-like setting with heavenly Mountain View’s. The on-site customer services team was polite, engaging and a joy to deal with. The location was ideal and in close proximity to hiking, Grandfather Mountain, the excitement offered by Blowing Rock and Boone. Highly recommended for a summertime excursion!

We LOVE this place!
We had such a wonderful time the first time we had to return! The place is impeccably clean, the communication with the management is streamlined and professional, check-in and check-out couldn't be simpler, and the location is superb! We absolutely love the views from the balcony! Regarding the rest of the accommodations, the beds are so comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the recliner couches are so relaxing in front of the fireplace! We couldn't ask for more. I especially love the gym, pool, hot tub, jacuzzi, and saunas. I can't speak highly enough of this rental -- and we will be back again and again!

Perfect Mother/Daughter Getaway
My daughter and I took this trip as a winter getaway -- the place was amazing! Between the beautiful views to the tasteful decor to the clean & comfortable accommodations to the hospitable communication with the management, we couldn't ask for more. Check-in was a breeze. We loved the amenities (especially the fitness center) and the snack/gift shop. The unit was spotless and was fully stocked with everything you might need. The view is breathtaking, and we loved the proximity to Sugar Mountain skiing (we spent a fun-filled day there) and Banner Elk (great restaurants). Overall, 5* plus! We would love to return again!

Girls Getaway
Me and my mom went for a getaway from Wednesday to Saturday. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The room was immaculate. It had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
