"Except for what seemed like a lot of traffic for a country gravel road here in wisconsin, it was very peaceful. Night was quiet and comfortable. Had a nice fire outside and cabin was warm inside. Comfortable beds. Slight gas smell when we entered, but it seemed to dissipate once place was opened up. Attic type ladder to upper sleeping area was pretty shaky so I recommend using outside steps. Porta potties clean and fresh. An outside motion light would be nice for those who might need to venture...

"What a place. If you’re looking for a babbling brook, birds singing, crickets chirping, stars shining, hammock swinging, glowing fire kinda place, you will find it here! And did I mention a clean and tastefully decorated cabin? Yup! You get that too. We were pleasantly surprised by all the extras this place had to offer. And the hosts were wonderful to communicate with and took care of a need above and beyond what we asked. Took day trips to neighboring towns and then right back to this sweet...

"Pictures are accurate. The kitchen needs a little updating but worked out just fine. Well stocked. If you're planning on staying here in the summer be weary of all the insects from the river. We were not able to use the firepit or the grill because there were too many flies everywhere. The property around the house can use a little cleaning/sprucing up. "

"The location of the house was great for an appointment we had in La Crosse. The backyard looked nice and I wish we would have been able to utilize it. One of the “bedrooms” is open to the living room, but that was fine for us. Overall it worked for what we needed. "

"I can only report what they told me, and that was all very positive. They enjoyed the creek, watching a thunderstorm through the huge triangle shaped windows, cooking on the BBQ (FYI, the automatic lighter for the BBQ did not "click, but lit very safely with a match), and loved watching the bats eat the mosquitos that want to eat us. "
