"Place was quiet and secluded. My phone has practically 0 service and WiFi only worked for me outside. For 2 of us visiting the area for golf and stretch the Euro, it was perfect. We did run into some minor issues but didn’t get any response from Sykes management. Bathroom light stopped working during middle of our trip but we didn’t know how to get a hold of anyone and vrbo messaging didn’t work. They provide washer but there was no laundry detergent. "We came from Bray through wicklow mts to Carlow and visited Kilkenny on st patricks day. The duplex is brand new and sparrkling clean. Prettierin person than the pics. The beds are very comfortable. "The most beautiful surroundings and views from here and the property was well laid out, comfortable and worked really well for our group of 6. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great and the wood burning stove was a lovely touch on chllly evenings. Communication was great and it was a great stay. I would highly recommend this place."

"If you don't want the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, stay at Borahead Lodge. A peaceful, quiet cottage only minutes from dining, groceries and Dublin. It's a short drive (40 minutes) from Dublin airport. 20 minute drive to the Red Cow park and ride Luas station so you don't have to fight Dublin downtown traffic. Bridie (our friendly host) gave great advice about the area and shared pears from her orchard. If we're ever back in Ireland, we will be staying here."
