"Our stay at the cottage was ok, the pool is lovely and the hot tub is a plus. The cottage is very small, we are a family of 4 which was tight. 6 people would be too many as there is only a sofa bed to sit on in the living room so people have to sit at the dinner table in the evening. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the sofa bed as it was broken. We did inform the owner who said she was aware it was broken but didn’t say it would be fixed or a new sofa bought. "Lovely large house near all the D Day landing beaches. The hosts were very welcoming and explained everything about the house. The house had more outside space than we could use and plenty of table and chairs. We had an absolutely wonderful week."

The character and layout had us wondering what life was like there in the 18th century but we still had all the amenities we enjoy today including a hot tub that our younger daughter loved. Plenty of room and ample kitchen which allowed us to cook after long days touring all of Normandy. "We enjoyed the relaxing location just outside Le Molay Littry. It's 50mins from Caen in countryside like Cornwall, but without the people! We weren't aware it's right next to a cow farm but they weren't a bother, but there are a lot of flies,which we got used to. The house is a little sparsely furnished but spacious. The bedrooms could do with a chest of drawers each and there's room for them. Downstairs is a bit minimalist too. Some soft furnishings would break up the noise a bit. The town...

"This is a lovely, clean and very comfortable apartment. The area was quiet despite being by the port. We had everything we needed for our stay. Grandcamp is a nice little town with great restaurants and the boulangerie / super market, all in walking distance. Highly recommend."

"Room was small, but clean. Room 102 has a bathtub. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast buffet is included and was good. Much of the town is closed off-season. It was a challenge to find open restaurants. There is a laundromat 500ft away from hotel. "

"We loved the Villa Lara Hotel. The rooms are over the top and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Once they were notified of our late arrival they arranged a taxi from the train station and made dinner reservations for us as well. Upon arrival to the hotel they took our luggage to our room so we could leave straight away for dinner. The hotel is walkable to many sites in town. We will definitely be back "

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. One challenge was that some rooms were not accessible by elevator. Once the elevator reached a floor, the rooms were up another half flight of steps. It was challenging for me who is a senior adult to get a suitcase up that half flight. I had to take it slow but managed okay. The onsight parking spaces were very tight and some were difficult to get into. Everything else was great! Hotel breakfast had a nice assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, yogurts and cereals....all the normal offerings of many hotel breakfasts. "
