Great Spot for Family Reunion
Very scenic, quiet, and relaxing property. There was ample room for our visiting family members and the location was ideal for our rafting and hiking and site seeing activities. We enjoyed the fire pit very much in the evenings!

Hiking on the Mountains to Sea Trail
We rented this home for a place to stay while we hiked section 4 of the Mountains to the Sea trail. It is a very nice placed, secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great Explorations
My family really loved staying here. The property backs up to a mountain side forest complete with awesome trails to hike and explore. The house itself was very comfy and well-appointed with everything you need. Water/heat/power/internet all worked flawlessly. Beds were very comfy, and the blankets were warm. The immediate area around the cabin is a small rural community that is quiet and inviting. The nearest town is not far off and has everything you need, including a Wal-Mart. All of the local attractions are easy to get to. We went to the local observatory, Linville falls, some hiking trails and more. I don't think we ever had to drive more than about 35 minutes for anything. We loved every minute. Great stay!
