"The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable. "The property is very secluded but perfect for a family get away! The outdoor fire pit was a hit! We sat outside each evening. The property is only 1/2 hour from Cooperstown and this vacation rental was perfect for a visit to Cooperstown! Kitchen was well stocked but didn’t have many forks. Beds were very comfortable! Overall, Great weekend getaway!"
