"I was slightly off put by the older building, and the doors are not in an enclosed hallway, they open up to an outside balcony/hallway. So this time of year in December is VERY cold and windy being on the beach. The furniture is slightly worn and paint chipping, but they served their purpose. The floors could have been mopped better, bring slippers or socks if you plan on coming here! The place smelled clean though, not like a smoked in place at all. And their linens were all very nice, towels...

"Very cute hotel, recently renovated so everything is fresh and new. Comfy beds, nice bathroom, great view. The rooms were a little odd in that there was almost no furniture... a sort of shelf-like "table" that folds down from the wall and one folding chair. Given that the rooms are quite small, this makes sense - just know that there's not really a table you can sit at. No coffee in the room. Overall, very nice but the room being quite small and the very basic furnishings took a star off...

"We stayed here while we visited our son, the place was very comfortable and clean. We had a room facing the beach and the boardwalk, it was a nice surprise to look out the balcony to see all the lights down it for their Christmas drive."

"This property is currently going through a construction/renovation process and I was not told upon check-in that they were doing work on my floor so it came to a surprise in the morning when people started working at 7 AM. Other than that my stay was perfect. Wendy at the front desk was a gem and will be the reason I stay at this location again."

"The people were friendly, the spot was easy to find, and we had a room the size of a small apartment, with 2 ocean-view balconies, for about relatively cheap. "This was on of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a while! The hotel was very clean and nice, with beautiful decorations for the holiday season. To be right on the water is definitely a plus, although the weather was too cool for me to really enjoy the beach. But, the balcony attached to my room made for a beautiful scenery. Pleasant Stay

"Check-in process is very convenient. My party arrived past noon on Thanksgiving of 2024. Welcome packet envelope with all instructions and access keys and cards are inside the envelope which I pick on our way to the site from the check-in office which is nearby. Check out process is the same thing, very easy just drop off your keys in the same location. The unit is great and very family-oriented. We had a great stay."

Perfect Location!

"We loved it, we enjoyed everything about the condo and the communication was superb! Thanks to the owners and property managers. The condo was equipped with just about everything. We walked the beach and enjoyed the deck and ocean sounds. We were sad to leave today. "

Vacation escape with beach and bay views, pools, & balconies

Good location, bad maintenance.

"We've stayed at The Sanctuary before, and it is a very nice beach and location. I was disappointed by the rental. The unit was not well cleaned. Carpet was dirty. Counters and tables weren't wiped down. Furniture was stained and broken. Several burnt out bulbs, smoke detectors with dead batteries, and broken items. The beds were clean and comfortable which was nice. Place needs a good cleaning and freshening up."

Peaceful and Relaxing

"We loved the location of this rental! Beach access was quick and easy. There was a coffee shop right across the street and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Even with the state park right next door there was still plenty of space on the beach and we didn't feel crowded at all even though we were there in the middle of July. I also appreciated that we were able to rent this unit nightly as opposed to weekly. The unit was clean and the bathrooms had been updated. It was so calming to wake up in the morning and go out on the balcony and see the ocean and listen to the waves crashing."

Breathtaking Bay Views, located right on the beach!

Wonderful location

"The condo is very close to a nice beach, with a storage unit packed with beach toys. The only issue here is that we had to ask about if it had beach toys, and then upon arrival where the toys were because we didn't know there was a garage storage unit that needed keys (which we received only after we asked about then after arriving - we didn't get these keys at check in.) The condo has a nice kitchen and living room, lots of TVs, and two lovely and large balcony's with views. The primary bedroom and bath on its own level is extremely nice. The second small bedroom with queen bed and bath is also very nice for a couple. The other two bedrooms do not have comfortable beds, and one is very warm. Overall rated a 5 because the living area and beach are so nice!"

Great place for a group getaway

"Nice unit with plenty of space, right on the beach. All the staff we talked to were very responsive and friendly. We had an issue with the HVAC and they did their best to help. I did find it a bit frustrating how many different people i had to talk to about the checkin process. Felt like it could have been easier."
