Pete and his family were the most outstanding hosts you could ever hope for. They were communicative and clear throughout the entire process, extremely understanding and friendly, and went above and beyond by having welcome goodies upon arrival and a lovely surprise during our stay. They also had amazing local recommendations for food, and the house is well situated and it felt like we were close to everything (basically a 5-10 min drive to really amazing places).
The house is beyond beautiful, with comfortable seating in the living room, and an abundant beautifully renovated kitchen with top notch equipment and plenty of nice glasses and plates for our larger group. The bedrooms were very cozy, the carpets were super plush and soft, and the remodel of the bathrooms were beautiful and clean.
We especially loved the outdoor deck with a gorgeous view of the golf course and a backdrop of trees on a hill, and especially enjoyed using the jacuzzi in the evening for perfect stargazing. We also used the great grill for steaks!
This was a very special trip for us group of friends, and this amazing house with the most wonderful hosts made it truly unforgettable.
The only thing I wasn't aware of until closer to our stay is that the house is part of a duplex, so you share one wall with your neighbor. That said, there was absolutely no issue at all in terms of parking (because the parking is split so our side had designated spaces), or sound (the shared wall is mostly just the garage and some of the dining area). We never heard anything from the other side, nor did we receive any complaints from our end even while hanging out in the jacuzzi or eating at the dining table.
All in all, this house and the hosts deserves 6+ stars. We hope to be able to come back at different times of the year to enjoy all of the beauty around this home in all seasons. We are deeply grateful for their generosity in making this home available for others to enjoy.
