We very thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay at Blue Bonnet Cabin early this November. It was so charming and the decor was not loud as admittedly we somewhat feared. It was so well stocked and the amenities were all taken care of. Compact and cozy and very private. We felt like were in the distant woods. We even saw a couple of (harmless) coyotes on the road near the cabin. The walk up from the street is rather steep so keep that in mind. Not really walking disabled friendly. Has a great propane fueled fire pit on the deck, solar lights around, a fenced in area for pups (pet friendly, yea!). Close to the lake. There's a nearby boat launch public area (Mims Chapel park) for walking the dogs and taking some pics by the gorgeous lake. Johnson Creek recreation area is 10 mins away. Great mattresses (bunk with not much headroom and no backboard, I believe they're full/double not queen), but on the soft side, so be you've been warned. Wifi and huge TV with satellite, great. Fold down sofa, air con and heating -- wonderful. Fully stocked kitchen, bonus! All kinds of other items in case you forgot something. Contact with property mgr Evan was excellent. We highly recommend. But shh, don't tell anyone!
