"We loved the hotel from the minute we walked in to the minute we checked out. The theme is rockstar and it is evident. My husband and I had a room with a view and it was spectacular. The uniquely designed bed was comfy and allowed us to see the cityscape while lounging. The bathroom was spa like with a separate area for the toliet and a vanity. The rainfall shower was a 10/10! "The Carleton is a lovely old place in an excellent location. You are steps from all that downtown Oak Park has to offer as well as the Green Line for trips into Chicago. It's a bit run down and could have been a bit cleaner. I appreciated the larger room with the kitchenette. "
