「We had everything we needed and I loved coffee in the morning with the frogs. They were loud.Watching the swans, muskrats and other wild life and the beautiful light was the best. We were close to the beaches at gun lake and fished at the cottage. It was exciting to hear loons in lower Michigan.」

「We rented this property to surprise my parents and celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful spacious house. Only downside was we thought that it was directly on the water but it’s across the street. Which still was fine and such a beautiful breeze with great views however my husband was not able to get on the dock due to the rocks and steps. My husband is in a wheelchair. That was a surprise but still was fine.」

「I have rented a different lakehouse every Labor Day weekend for many years and this is one of our faves. The decor will definitely appeal to antique lovers. The large deck is lovely. The lake is very quiet (no wake) and peaceful. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat out on the water. 「Having the rental be so close to everything and basically being on beautiful Gun Lake made the family trip so enjoyable. In addition, John the owner was very accomodating and very respondent to all our needs. The VRBO itself was beautifully decorated and very clean. 「We absolutely loved our stay! We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and on the peddle boat fishing. We went out on the peddle boat / pontoon boat to go swimming as well.
