Let me say we are in no way finicky travelers, however this cabin was not worth the headache. Make sure your phone is charged because you will be calling management A LOT
Day 1, arrived, attempted to use boat, didnt work, called management, they sent someone out who worked on the boat, and 2 hrs later we were on water, however twice the boat stalled, so we were grateful when we got it back to the dock.
Day 2 - it rained, no biggie so we thought we would use the sauna......big surprise it didnt work, let management know we were told to check the fuse box, which we did, still didnt work. Ok maybe we would watch some local TV or a movie, they have a DVD player, however no actual DVD's, and we couldn't even get local stations on the TV.
Day 3, tried boat in am, didnt work, tried boat in afternoon, got it to run for 15 min and we went for a ride, it stalled by the dam and were grateful that a good neighbor pulled us back in to the dock, called management, and they asked if we checked the oil....seriously!!!
Day 4 the toilet started to back up in the shower, we tried plunging the toilet, plunger didn't work so we went to gas station to borrow a plunger, still toilet not functioning properly, called management, we were told again to check fuse box, and that they would send someone.
No one ever came we spent the next day and a half using the bathroom elsewhere because we were so worried that it would overflow. Management called me 1 hour after we checked out and asked if any one ever showed up to fix the bathroom, completely unprofessional
Not to mention, the floors weren't finished in sunroom, and that there were ant traps throughout the rental and ants on the walls. The only saving grace was that we had brought our own fishing boat and the actual location.
Drive way is extremely steep, not one I would attempt in winter.
My advice is to find a different place to stay on the lake, this place is not ready for renters unless you enjoy spending part of your vacation on the phone with management
