We loved the location. The view was amazing! We loved having our morning coffee on the deck watching all the wildlife. And the visits from the peacock was a highlight. We’ve already booked two weeks next year about the same time.

Great getaway in a beautiful home on the water. Priced very reasonable. We stayed two nights in December. Could use some updating like curtains or blinds on all the windows. Outdoor lighting on driveway side was not working. Carpet needs replacing.

Incredible Space but Uncomfortable

We loved everything about this place. The location was gorgeous, plenty of space, not just your standard cabin inside. Amenities were fine, but there wasn't any hand soap in the entire place. However, nothing was that comfortable other than the rocking chairs. The couch is blown out and tattered, barely any support or cushion sitting down; and the bed we slept in was really worn down, we both woke up each morning with some back pain. Overall incredible place that needs a couple updates.

Beautiful sunset—Great stargazing

The well-kept house is in a bay-front neighborhood. With neighbors on each side, I was concerned about noise. But, it was very quiet. There are woods across the street—great fall colors. The large yard (with a nice fire ring) and a big porch overlook the bay. The sunset was gorgeous. The stars were magnificent! The hosts were communicative/helpful but not overbearing. Would stay again!

We enjoyed spending the night at this cabin. We especially enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the deck and being greeted by the neighborhood Peacock. The kitchen window and vents could use a cleaning, but it was generally clean. We liked how well stocked the bathroom was and having paper towel to use. The owners had excellent communication.

Natural Beauty.

Beautiful view of the natural marshy shore of Saginaw Bay. Lots of different waterfowl and birds to see. Received a visit from the neighborhood Peacock. Very clean and comfortable place to stay.

Great stay for holiday visit with family!

Property was just as it was described. Driveway was plowed and porch shoveled when we arrived. Kitchen had the basics, which is all we needed. Bed in downstairs bedroom was more comfortable than those upstairs. We look forward to booking again, maybe in the summer next time!

Beautiful setting- Lovely house

This house is located right on a cattail marsh area connected directly to Lake Huron and the views are beautiful. Large shade trees are around the house which is in a very quiet area. The interior looks new and is shiny clean with very comfortable furniture and a well stocked kitchen. Communication with the owner was easy as was access to the property. My wife and I found this to be a very nice place to stay.
