Somewhat Neglected Property
We didn't have a very pleasant stay at this property run by West Home.
First, the apartment seemed neglected in terms of repair, cleanliness, and preparedness. The front door was in disrepair, including a security code plate that looked to be gouged loose. The rooms weren't very clean -- crumbs, hair, and items on the floor, dust and cobwebs on the vents, and red stains on the comforter. There was only one bath towel available for three guests. In hindsight, we never saw a parking pass for our car.
Second, communication with the host wasn't the most helpful. We weren't able to get a response from them about early check-in (they won't let you request it ahead of time, so you have to check the day of your stay to see if it's ready yet), and they didn't have staff in the evenings to bring the missing towels over and we had to wait until the next day.
Any one of these issues would be understandable, but we've never stayed somewhere that had this many issues at once. Usually hosts make every effort to ensure a lovely stay. We didn't feel comfortable staying, so we left the first evening.
The host team was apologetic and promised to look into the issues.
If they're able to take better care of it in the future, I'll say that the neighborhood is great and in easy walking distance of fun restaurants and shops. The furniture and decor seemed fine -- nice king bed and couches. Dedicated parking is great. Be aware that the upstairs room has no AC vent.
