Everything was very good. It was lovely and peaceful. About the price. It says the house is $160 a night. That is misleading. The host fee was almost as much as the 3 nights accommodation. That was my fault. I should have been more careful.

Last min dog friendly getaway.
We had an event in Athens, and needed to bring the pups. The house was great! Exactly what we needed space wise and it was right on the water which was a bonus. I wish there was directions on how to use the TVs/ Direct TV/ Cable. We had planned ahead and brought our own fire stick to stream from. I probably could have reached out to the Property Manager to ask about cable, but it didn’t affect our stay. I also wish the primary bedroom had a king bed. It would be great for a big family or even a couple of families to stay. The back yard/ water views were the best part.

Great weekend getaway!
It was a great stay to celebrate the new year! The only down fall was that we didn’t know the drive way was slanted as much as it was. We could get our boat parked in the drive way, so we had to park it on the street. Other than that, it was great!

A tranquil stay in Athens
We were gathering in Athens for a memorial service and so had family from distant parts coming in to town. The property was all we could have hoped for, with the bedrooms and bathrooms easily accommodating us. The deck and playroom were also great for hanging out and entertaining the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, hope to stay again in the future, and would definitely recommend this property to others.

Great family vacation spot
This house inside and out was perfect for us and our 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. The only thing missing was no swimming. The dock was great for our boat but the lilly pads had taken over the bank for swimming.

We were 5 ladies that stayed here for Canton Trade Days. It was in a great location and close enough to Canton to not take too long to get there. The only problem that we had was the lighting, especially in the jack and Jill bathroom and the kitchen. Everything else was great.

Vast improvements needed before being rented
House needs vast improvements to validate rental fee. KITCHEN HAS NO OVERHEAD LIGHTING. NONE - ONLY under cabinet lighting. We had to wait for sun to prepare breakfast. Linens are thin and cheap. One inch of watery soap in each dispenser throughout entire house. Outdoor seating is better than indoor. Beds are not solid and uncomfortable - especially twins. Cookware is lacking and plates are chipped! Poor amount of drinkware. Listing should include a very steep driveway. If they want to continue to rent this house out, it requires some major love. A trip to Home Goods would be a great place to start!

while the property and location are great, it can definitely use some repairs. One shower ceiling was hanging down and the shower handle snapped off the first time it was used. The jacuzzi jets in the master bathroom did not work which was a HUGE disappointment. some other small things could've been better.

Long Weekend with Fam
Pros: Large lake home with plenty of room. Living area and bedrooms spacious and well laid out. Multi-level decks were great to hang out on. Cons: Disappointed in boat dock. 3 large old boats docked there and swimming was very difficult. We actually found old metal ladder by house and put it down in water for entry and exit of the lake. Was hoping for restful nights but the queen bed (one of the main reasons i chose this house) which was listed in description turned out to be only double and twin beds with extremely old bedding and the carpet was terribly marked by previous pet visitors. Not comfortable at all. Last but not least the 3rd bath that should have serviced 2 bedrooms had no lighting and the ceiling had actually fallen over the shower. House needs some TLC before being advertised as guest ready or at least a polite heads up from the manager. After paying all the fees, etc., I feel like we paid too much for what we found.

The property was spacious and equipped as advertised . We had a great time. It could use a few minor repairs and lightbulb replacement. We loved the outdoor deck spaces and canal view. The steep driveway and parking spaces were a challenge for us.
