This home was an absolute gem. There were five couples and there was plenty of room for all of us to visit, eat together an cook together but also with two separate living areas, there was also room for those who wanted to watch TV to do so without bothering those who preferred to read or engage in quiet conversation. Everyone agreed that this exceeded our expectations in just about every way. Some of us brought pots, pans, knives and other household equipment with us and most of it stayed in our cars, as the house was very well equipped with just about every piece of cooking equipment and utensils that you could need. And the local property contact -- April -- was terrific, too. I had asked her a week or so before our arrival if she would take a picture of the pantry staples that were already there (sugar, salt, pepper, etc.) so we wouldn't have to bring or buy things for the trip that were already there. She gladly obliged, which was very helpful, too. The spring weather was unseasonably cold until the last day, so we didn't get to enjoy the deck, but if it was more spring-like, that would have given us yet another place to mingle and enjoy the trees, birds and mountain air.
