"We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. We found the cottage to be comfortable, including plenty of cooking utensils, good stove and a reasonable-size fridge. There was plenty of hot water for the comfortable...

"Beautiful countryside and lovely bread and bakeries at the market in Masham nearby Cosy living room with log fire , the pub next door is apparently reopening soon . The parking was excellent "

"We stayed in Stables 2 and it was a beautiful and cosy apartment. A friendly cat greeted us and made sure we we were all settled in :) and we were greeted with a lovely bottle of red wine, cookies, a nespresso machine with four pods and firewood for the fire. The kitchen is kitted out perfectly and had everything we needed. The bathroom was nice, with a shower and spme toiletries and all very clean. We had the best sleep in the bed, which was more comfy than my own bed, so now I'm thinking...

"There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the area and the property. My only two things to flag that I would have changed. Were it was only very near our stay that we were informed we would need to bring our own towels. We felt this should have been highlighted before booking. And we were disappointed that there was no milk to start us off as it is quite a rural area and we arrived later in the evening. "

"Great hotel in a beautiful location. The views are beautiful. We had spacious but cosy room 3 on the top floor of a separate little building which was delightful. Fantastic views and a wonderful bath! We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good. The staff are amazing, very attentive and friendly and make you feel at home. We definitely stay here again and for longer next time. "

Great Hotel

"Really enjoyed our stay ..easy to find..off road private parking..the hotel is very welcoming nicely decorated and clean...the bar is a good size and well stocked..the room was large with plenty of storage and room to sit and read or study..the bathroom had a bath with shower and toilet.. plenty of hot water..the bed was very comfy and sheets were fresh and clean..The breakfast was amazing with everything you could want and plenty of it.Only 10 mins walk into town along the canal which runs directly behind the hotel...All in all a great hotel "

"Lovely place to stay. Everyone was helpful and nice to be around. The breakfasts were a set menue but there was nothing wrong with them, they set me up for the day. The evening meals were tasty well presented and plenty of it with a good choice to suit everyone. I would highly recommend "

"The Inn was ideally situated, not too far from Settle and Malham Cove which was beautiful. Very welcoming and a special smiley reception from the delightful Poppy. Francesca too couldn’t do enough for us as we enjoyed Happy Hour and Over 60s good prices on evening meals. We’ll be back!"
