「This was a bit of a strange place. Not maintained, very old, lots of things didnt work. Shower sprays in all different directions, fountain and spa are out of order, some lights didnt have light bulbs or didnt work and the furniture was out dated and the kitchen was awkward and hard to use. 「Room was recently renovated, but there were some "attention to details" blunders, with grout on the bathroom floor tiles not having been polished off and some decidedly amateurish cutting-in to the bathroom doorframe and below the mirror over the vanity. The new front-door also had a 15mm gap beneath, so will be extremely draughty in winter. Room was clean and comfortable overall. We stayed here previously in Jan 2023 and were disappointed that the swimming pool is no longer in use.」
